The story
In 1971, Enrique and Yolanda Ramos opened Tortillería Ramos in Glendale. The tamales were one of the things people came back for, year after year.
When the store closed, they kept asking the family for more. So we kept making them, quietly, by word of mouth. Same masa, same hands, same recipe for over 30 years.
Now we're finally bringing them back to the public and sharing them with the local community. Every batch goes out hot the day it's made.
